Assignment recored not getting synchronized after running the synchronize assignmnet records from position process


Hi All,

I was checking some of the position synchronization and position hierarchy scenarios and ran after this issue.

1. Created two positions using position hierarchy(Pos2 and Pos3) . Eg: Pos3's parent position is Pos2 and Pos2's parent position is Pos1

2. Went to person management and randomly searched for persons with active assignments, changed their position to pos3 and submitted.

3. Ran the synchronize assignments from position process at enterprise level.

Ideally what this should do is synchronize the changed person's manager to the incumbent in pos2 and if pos2 is having zero incumbents , then it should have the incumbent of pos1 being shown as the manager for incumbent of pos3.
