Visibility of DFF Segments at the Requisition line level based on certain conditions

We have a requirement in our current implementation, where we have enabled 4 DFF segments at the requisition line level; the segments have to be shown based on the Category selected for the requisition line. Ex:  If the category selected in the requisition line is X, then the DFF segment Attribute 1 and Attribute 2 needs to be displayed (Attribute 3 and Attribute 4 to be hidden); if the category 
selected at the requisition line level is Y, then DFF Segment Attribute 3 and Attribute 4 needs to be displayed(and the first two segments to be hidden). Can this be achieved using personalization or any other approach.
