All,

We saw the announcement come across about the upcoming Gen 2 roll-out and have a few questions because we have a footprint of over 10 Gen 1 instances.

1- Will there be core features and functionality differences between Gen 1 and Gen 2 instances? Limitations? Capabilities we wont be able to explore by being on Gen 1? Will Gen 1 and Gen 2 instances receive the same patches and stay on the same versions?

2- Will the Oracle managed DR offering thats upcoming will only be offered to Gen 2 instances?

3- Will there be an upgrade path/option to upgrade Gen 1 instances in place to go to Gen 2? Very useful (required) for clients like us with many environments.
