Oracle CX Commerce is upgrading OJET to 7.3.0 in its Storefront and Agent framework and incorporating upgraded versions of a number of third-party JavaScript (JS) libraries in order to adhere to Oracle security policies. Staying on older versions of JS libraries is not recommended due to possible security issues. As a result of this mandatory update, the OJET upgrade has the potential to break backwards compatibility for merchant sites using any deprecated APIs from those third-party JS libraries.

The deadline for upgrading to the latest CX Commerce Storefront and Agent framework starts March 31, 2021. This upgrade applies to all Storefront Classic customers with a framework version prior to 20.2.8 (on any release). It does not apply to customers using our new Open Storefront Framework.
