Dear SMEs,

Need some expertise here on one of the requirement to use Percent spent revenue recognition method for getting revenue recognized based on Actual cost, Forecast cost and contract line amount used to fund the project or project & Task. I have few challenges to address as per the requirement.

Challenge 1 - How to report the profitability at the planning resource level on the project ?

Forecast is generated using project plan to derive the Forecast cost amount having the planning resource as Expenditure type e.g. Internal Labor & External Labor. These planned cost gets rolled up to the Task and then project.
