HCM Application Support - HR v IT?
Summary
Discussion on where HCM supports sits within organisations between HR and IT, and merits of bothContent
Hi all,
I'm keen to understand how customers support HCM within their organisation - namely does it sit predominantly within the HR or IT function?
We are about to go through some change and this is one area we're looking at. Activity such as:
User support - for queries, guidance etc
Impact Assessment - of new release notes, what needs done and how to embed within the business processes
Configuration - e.g. workflows, tables, user roles, personalisation etc
Testing - including test planning and execution for any change / regression for quarterly updates
