Can we personalize the salary rate from the training plan?

We have a requirement where a certain user is assisting building the learning plans, but should not see individual learner wage costs being computed by the wage rate formulas in the plan.
Has anybody managed to successfully personalize the learning program plan records to remove certain columns from the plan? Or is this even possible (maybe by Role). I dont think this can be achieved via the function/data security policies as I think this is access to the program / plan or not (so all or nothing).
