New courses created after NUX switch on not appearing in Self Service Learning Catalog

Since we switched over to NUX, when we create a new course, specialisation or public community, it does not appear when a user searches for it in self service learning catalog. We have raised an SR for this but wondering if anyone else has found a work around. Really not ideal for employees to not be able to find the content in this way
