How attachment and certifiates are different from Absence Module perspective post 20B

Summary

20B facilitates attachments can be made mandatory, what is the impact on Absence certificates component?

Content

Hi Experts:

Since 20 B we have this flexibility of making attachments mandatory at various levels.

Initiating this thread to know its impact on Absence certificates component, do we really need to configure certificates separately now, or attachments making mandatory at ESS level will serve the purpose?

How attachments and certificates are interlinked, and at what degree they differ?

Please provide some insight on this based on your exposure, and experience with Absence Management, while configuring and gathering different business scenarios.

Kind Regards!
