Cannot Terminate Employee With Incorrect End Effective Date
Summary
Cannot Terminate Employee With Incorrect End Effective DateContent
**** Everyone,
We have a scenario where an employee had a assignment change (manager change) accidently effective end dated to 3/30/3030.
It should have been end dated 3/30/2020.
So, the current assignment based upon today's date of 8/10/2020 is the one with a start date of 6/4/2020 and an end effective date of 3/30/3030.
There is also a future dated assignment record that starts on 3/31/3030.
Now we need to terminate the employee.
Using the current assignment record we terminate the employee with a termination date of 7/30/20, a last worked date of 4/27/20, and a final pay date of 5/7/20.
