How to apply permission to custom folder

To remove delete privilege from custom folder

Hi Experts,

We want to remove delete privilege from one of the custom folders. Which is nothing but the folder inside the main custom folder.

When I tried to apply permission it is getting applied to subfolders and reports present inside that folder.

But could not able to apply permission to the main folder.

How this can achieve any input is highly appreciated. Attaching the snapshot for additional reference (I want to remove delete privilege as highlighted in attached)
