Absence HDL Failure - You can't delete this row because either the values are invalid or missing

Currently, our leave absence tracking is done within HCM Absence Records.  We are moving our absence tracking away from HCM to another 3rd party vendor(Kronos).  Integration is necessary between HCM and Kronos.  Vacations will continue to be approved within HCM and those approved absences will be sent to Kronos.  Unexcused absences will continue to be entered into Kronos and sent to HCM.  If an employee takes leave and the leave records are in Kronos we will need the ability to interface them to HCM.  The above absence interfacing between Kronos/HCM does use HDL to MERGE new absences.  The problem is
