Default value for "Text Area" display type in DOR DFF

Hi,

We are able to default value for dropdown/list of values display type field in DFF.

But when I am passing a contant default value for the display type "Text Area", The value is not getting defaulted in the UI. Is this expected behavior?

Requirement: There is a DOR where some fields should be mandatory. And some mandatory fields should be filled by manager and some by HRBP. Inorder to make the field mandatory we wanted to pass default value as "NA" when manager fill the form.
