Migration from GEN1 to GEN2 Infrastructure

Content

Hi,

We have Java Cloud Service and Database Cloud Service to develop and maintain custom built Java ADF Applications and integrated those Custom Java Applications with our Fusion SaaS HCM.

This setup is done using PaaS. We do not have IaaS.

Now , we have recieved notification from Oracle that we need to migrate our PaaS Components from current Infrastructure(Gen1) to a new Gen2 infrastructure.

Oracle also mentioned that we need to sign a contract as addendum to the existing Cloud Service Agreement

The question is ,
1. As a Cloud Customer for software services, Not sure why we need to sign additional contract for Hardware Infrastructure Upgrade.

Howdy, Stranger!
