Document changes in RUX

Looking for someone to help me get info from our document section to manage documents

Can anyone help me understand the change in the document functionality from Classic to RUX.  In classic under person there is a section called documents that has 'Citizenships', 'Driver's Licenses', 'Passports' and 'Visas and Permits'.  Here we used to be able to end date the records and under 'Visas and Permits' there was a type and Category field.  When I look at document records and can see the 'Visas and Permits' document, but when i go into details the type and category field was replaced by a Category and sub category that dont match.  This will effect our reporting too.
