Address State Field limitation issue in Configurable Forms



We are implementing Onboarding and want to have the new hires update their personal information prior to doing any other tasks so that we can prepopulate the other forms with the correct information.

There is a limitation with the State field being a picklist so we can't add it to a Configurable form for New Hires to complete.

I see two options and wanted to see if anyone had any other ideas:

Option 1: Create a task that tells the New Hire to go to the My Info Page and update their information there, then return to the task and mark and eSign it to be able to move on.
