Knowledge Article: Create a draft negotiation from template using supplierNegotiations REST service

Content

As a best practice, many sourcing departments create and maintain negotiation templates with predefined negotiation overview controls, cover page, common set of requirements, collaboration team or suppliers. Templates are a one-time setup upfront and can be re-used which will help you to shorten the negotiation creation process and saves time.

You can use the custom action CreateNegotiationFromTemplate in the supplierNegotiations REST service to create a draft negotiation (Auction, RFQ, RFI, Two-stage RFQ).

Once the draft negotiation is created with the standardized information, you can add lines from any source requisition systems, or add and update any resources such as suppliers, or collaboration team. This will streamline the negotiation creation process.

Howdy, Stranger!
