When we inactivate users by adding to Date, user is getting removed from organization and hence managers will loose access to this user's closed records( opportunities, leads, etc ). 

As a workaround for this , we created a custom role which indicates that user is inactive and not removing them from organization so managers can still see this user's records. The issue with this workaround is that these users will still be there in Picklists and can be added in Team.

Can we restrict users based on their resource role while adding in team and in picklist.
