System does not mark a reassigned course as completed after failing the course for first time

Hello Experts,

When a learner fails a course and is assigned the course once again the system does not mark them as completed even if they successfully pass all the activities. We are currently working with Oracle on a fix.

The new course has the status 'In Progress' and the previous course has the status 'Not Passed'.
We have found that going to Manage activities for the 'Not Passed ' offering and click on 'i' next to failed activity, it stores the record of successfully completed activity that should have been recorded against the 'In Progress' offering.

Please let me know if we have any work around to avoid this issue.

Howdy, Stranger!
