My Team Learning Renders both Terminated Pending Worker and Active Worker Record

In testing recruiting cloud, I'm seeing that as a manager on a converted pending worker in My Team>Learning, I see the same person show up twice (same name, same person number). I'm assuming  once  is their terminated pending worker record and once is their worker record. 

Is this expected behavior? Is there a way to prevent the terminated pending worker record from showing?
