Background image in page composer not showing

I'm trying to add a background image to a container on the learning page (image attached). But we are basically trying to mimic the other tiles to link to the employees certificates. I've uploaded the image to the content server and I've tried adding the link below to the container formatting, but the image is not showing. Is there a trick or syntax to show the image?
