Defaulting DFF to Sysdate

Hi ,

If we query Per_periods_of_service we can see Accepted_termination_date but cannot enable that on termination page while terminating the employee. So i thought of enabling the DFF, but Unable to default the date to Sys date. Could anyone help me out? I have tried using default in DFF as attached screenshot but no luck.
