Is there a setting to display blank as value in Smart View when alias change occurs?

Summary

Smart View refresh issue when alias doesn't match alias table

Content

Smart View v11.1.2.5.810

EPBCS v20.09.66

When an alias change occurred on-prem where the new alias did not match the alias table, the value displayed in the Smart View query as blank.

Now in the cloud under the same scenario, the value displayed is the same value from a previous query result. For instance, if my prior query had a value of $100...upon refresh the value still displays as $100 even though the alias is not accurate and the value in the database had updated and should be $150.

Is there a setting, outside of cell styles, to allow users to know the alias has changed and the value is inaccurate? This issue is causing reporting inaccuracies which is a major cause of concern by our Finance users.
