Summary

How Global Search can be leveraged for Requisitions

Content

Customers / Support

I wanted to write this article to convey specific use cases and the soup to nuts details of the enhancements to the Global Search feature, that was released in Update 20D. Remember, Global Search is a common infrastructure component and is leveraged by other Procurement applications as well. The intent of this article is to somewhat pigeonhole the content to tell you how this would work in the context of bring back Purchase Requisitions.

So, with that understanding, read on...

1. What is Global Search:
The enhanced Global search feature is available to users to search using keywords that match pre-defined supported search attributes and retrieves results across various applications that match the search criteria. Users can then choose to drill down to view document details, subject to access controls and privileges that they are assigned. (More on this later)

Howdy, Stranger!
