How does the Auto Reconciliation Method work with Balance Comparison with Transaction Matching?

We are not getting the expected results from setting the 'Balance is Zero' Auto Reconciliation Method from our Balance Comparison with Transaction Matching

Hi folks,

Lately we have observed that our balance comparison with transaction Match is not closing automatically when our unexplained balance is zero with the 'Balance is Zero' is set for Auto Reconciliation Method in the profile. Note our profile in question does not currently have other rules set up. As such, we would like to know like to ask the following questions in the forum to get a better understanding of this function; 

1. What is the use case for the ‘Balance is zero’ Auto Reconciliation Method in the Profile setting?
