What is the function of the Position Hiring Status value FROZEN

Hi,

For one of the solutions, we are trying to temporarily stop new hires into a position by updating the Hiring Status to "FROZEN". The expectation is that current incumbents will continue in the same position, while new additions are stopped.

But, the flag seems to do nothing - does not prevent new hires into the position.

The profile option ORA_POS_HIRING_STATUS_FILTER is also enabled.

Am trying to find out the real function of this field and the status value. Does anyone have additional information on this?
