Using Course Completion Date for Enrollment Eligibility

Summary

We are looking for a way to restrict enrollment in a course based on the completion of another course AND a waiting period

Content

Hello Learning Pros,

We have a requirement for several courses where there is a pre-requisite that needs to be met as well as a waiting period. For example, to enroll in "Course B", you need to first need to complete "Course A" AND wait 60 days to practice and apply what was learned in "Course A."

Obviously, a pre-requisite alone will not work. With Access Groups, I can use learning assignment criteria to search for completion of "Course A" on or before a specific date, but this is less than ideal as we still want the course to appear in the course catalog in its full fashion. Additionally, we would need to define the access group for each of these courses. The access group definition is not a big deal as the courses are monthly, but it is still some maintenance.
