Summary

How we can consume the forecast when there are no Sales orders and once the planned orders are created

Content

Hello All,

My customer runs a complete project-driven Supply Chain. They do not use Sales Order and do not manufacture anything. They keep stock of parts and service parts because of the long lead time for building the products. Their customers are mainly big carriers and Contractors.

They follow “Plan to Procure” process.

Can we bring in Transfer Orders from JDE through FBDI and use it as a firm-demand or something? I think they look for existing onhand from JDE where there is no project demand. That should be considered by Supply Planning first (net) and then create planned orders after netting.

Howdy, Stranger!
