Budgetary Control Flexfield seems Corrupted

Hello,

This is more of an educational question than a problem since we have worked around it.

Here is the situation:

We implemented Accounting Flexfield Segment security and it seemed to corrupt our Budgetary Control Flexfield.  We got around this by recreating the Control Budget and eliminating one of the segments which created a new Budgetary Control Flexfield structure.  That solved our issue.

Upon implementing the Accounting Flexfield Segment security and running publish hierarchies, rebuild control budget dimension, and other processes, we still had the following problems:

- AP invoices would not default the distribution indicating the liability account was bad.
