Report that pulls Salary and Assignment Changes Joined Together

Hi all,

Has anyone created a report that pulls both Salary and Assignment Changes joined together? An example is would be a promotion where an employee has a job title change and a salary change at the same time.

I've tried combining the Assignment Event Subject area with both Compensation subject areas (Real Time & History). Typically the report doesn't pull the salary in, or pulls two separate transactions. Has anyone successfully done this before?
