Hello fellow HCM customers!

This post is really to get some feeling and insight around the use and storage of an employees documents of record.

We know that as part of self-service, a line manager can see their direct reports salary, job information and documents of record. In addition, if any of their direct reports have their own reports, this line manager would also have access to the same information to all of their own indirect reports too.

This means any document attached to the collague that is visible to the 'Line Manager' role is visible to all the line managers between their direct line manager and the CEO. Depending on the levels of your organisation this could be quite a number of managers.

Howdy, Stranger!
