Award budget - one period, cost budget monthly

Will Cloud allow award budgets for the duration of the project in one period and have cost budgets on a monthly basis? We need our cost budget on a monthly basis, but find it very cumbersome to enter project funding on a monthly basis. The last part does not suit our business needs, and might be the reason to rejects using Grants.
