Please we need simple explanation for dealing with the historical sales that can be used for calculate quota and we do not need for and doc we just need this explanation from anyone implemented this functionality used it before in any business

my question again about how can using the sales historical data to calculate quota for new year and which formula I have to select to do ,need also simply clarification for each formula metric but not from the doc
