OOB Data Map WFP to FS - Salary & Merit

Is there a way to map Salary and Merit accounts using the OOB data map between WFP & FS? The configuration wizard allows the ability to map Benefits, Additional Earnings, & Taxes, but i do not see Salary anywhere.

The map looks like it uses members from the component dimension, which is not where the salary info is tagged. Is there a way to map Salary + Merit using the OOB data map or is this a gap in the current functionality? Do we need a custom data map to pick up the data? Obviously XWRITE is an option, but we have a large data set and would like to use the OOB data maps to improve performance if at all possible.
