Summary

Looking for detailed explanation about the why components are issued to a Work Order

Content

Hello all,

How does the Assembly Pull and Operation Pull work, as far as consuming the raw materials?

And how is it different from Push?

If, for example, I have 5 operations, and each consumes materials; if I choose Operation Pull for each operation, will the components' reporting be booked to WIP once I complete the Operation, as opposed to when I report the components' usage? and if I choose Assembly Pull does it means that the components won't be consumed from inventory to WIP once I complete one of the first 4 operations (excluding the last count-point one) but rather only after I complete the last operation of the Work Order?
