Hi,

We have many scenarios where customer needs to perform partial reconciliation of the bank statements and take appropriate manual action on the un-reconciled amount at later time based on the nature of the transaction. This is currently being followed in Oracle R12 system.

We are migrating to Fusion and realized recently that Fusion does not support partial reconciliation of the bank statements and Oracle has confirmed on that. But I am really not quite sure why Oracle choose not to implement this functionality in Fusion, as there will be certain scenarios in every business where the bank statement line may not exactly match with payment/receipt or due to exchange differences for foreign currency transactions.
