Prevent Absence Type to be submitted before and after an existing submitted absence type

We have a requirement where if we have an absence type already submitted, we want to prevent another absence type from being submitted the day before or after this absence type.

We have a requirement where if we have an absence type already submitted, we want to prevent another absence type from being submitted the day before or after this absence type.

So example

Absence Type Paid Leave is submitted for 21-Sep-2020 to 23-Sep-2020

Employee tries to submit Casual Leave on 20-Sep-2020 OR 24-Sep-2020, we want to restrict this.
