I am attempting to retrieve a list of requisitions from our Career Centre via the Taleo API for display on our company website. Presently we are using the RSS feed but would like to use the API to retrieve specific data including user defined field information. I can see a way to do this (detailed below) but it seems very inefficient.

My question is: Is there a more efficient/correct way of doing this than the following?

  1. Parse the Career Centre RSS feed for a list of requisition ids

  2. Make separate requests to the Taleo API for each requisition by id
