we have business requirement : 

WO need to be picked based on the picking rule and not based on the Supply sub inventory. 

 

Setups done: 

1. Picking rule defined > with Priority 1 : Sub inventory descending 

2, Done Picking Assignment to the the inventory org and in criteria given the transaction type : Movement Request 

3. Assign picking rule in the inventory org parameters 

4. Picking grouping rules as based on the WO number 

when we run based on the WO then Materia is picked if item onhand is available in the supply sub inventory if not available then picked from the sub iventory were the onhand is available it is now looking at the picking rule which says sub inventory descending.
