Has anyone tried to facilitate auto SMP pay post terminationContent
Employee has applied Maternity leave and receiving SMP and OMP from the employer. She gets terminated in mid month during maternity leave. When we run the pay for that month (when employee got terminated), it provides full month SMP & OMP. Ideally, only SMP should be paid and OMP should stop as OMP plan setup is not meant for payment after termination. When we run the pay for next month, no payment is generated and it is obvious that employee is no more active. Any idea if remaining SMP can be paid out in termed month or how to do that?
