Payable holds: Difference between Amount Ordered and Maximum Ordered Amount holds

Content

Hi All,

Can someone explain me the difference between Amount Ordered and Maximum Ordered Amount holds for amount based tolerances and Ordered Quantiy and Maximum Ordered Quantity Holds for Quantity based tolerances.

If I set both, how would they work. I have gone through several Oracle docs, but it is not clear at all.

They say something like this:

Amount ordered - Amount Billed is greater than Amount Ordered

Max Amount Ordered - Amount Billed is greater than the sum of Amount Ordered and Maximum Amount Ordered Tolerance Amount
