What are best practices for effective date used for Work Schedule Date when changing a work schedule

Hi All,

We have our Absence Module and Work Schedule Assignment integrated with our Payroll Module. I am curious about experiences other groups have had with the effective date of work schedule changes.  Are you making the change to align with beginning of the pay period or are you making the change to align with the shift schedule.

Note, we have over 100 variations of work schedules, starting any day of the week, and ranging from 4 days in a shift schedule to 15 days working straight in a work schedule.  We have a large variety of schedules, and seem to be struggling with the best effective date to use when changing from one shift to another.

Howdy, Stranger!
