Hello everyone!

Quick question around re-hires within your companies and how you handle these within HCM, my understanding is there are 2 options:

1. Use the re-hire workflow to create a new work relationship with an existing person in HCM, this means their person number remains the same and personal details are pulled through on the new hire workflow to speed up the process and then focus on entering the new assignment details

2. Hire an employee as a brand new record, not linking back to previous record, generating a new person number and entering all details again

  • Which of these 2 options does your business use? Any reasons, pros, cons for this reason?
