Change absence type UOM

Hello experts.

There was an absence plan that was poorly configured in the past. And was set to use calendar days instead of days.
When i went to edit the absence type, i was unable to select the UOM to edit it.
Tried using Page composer too. and also UOM couldn't be changed.

Does anyone know if is possible to change absence type UOM or if I will need to create a new type simply for it?
