Exclude INACTIVE records created due to legal entity transfer in OTBI analysis

Content

Hi Experts,

I am trying to create an analysis to report both active and terminated person in an analysis, but want to avoid the termination/inactive assignment records created due to internal legal entity transfers. I am trying to write a logical sql that checks and ignores INACTIVE assignment records if an ACTIVE assignment record exists for the same duration. that way I don't see multiple rows (Active and Inactive) for a person in the analysis.

I am trying to put together a simple logical SQL but no luck. Can you please advise what am I doing wrong or is there a better way to do it?
