Inactivating a Inventory Organization

Looking for suggestion what are the steps for Inactivating a Inventory Organization. 

I tried by Making it Inactive in "Manage Inventory Organization". But when I go and create PO with Inventory Org which was Inactive. 

Please suggest what am I missing here.
