MSS to Capture a Mandatory Field while Approving Resignation

We would like to introduce a new field "Regrettable Loss" for the Line Managers to capture/indicate while approving/rejecting a Resignation transaction or while initiating a Termination transactions. This field should be available for reporting purpose. This field should not be visible to the ESS who is submitting Resignation or for whom Termination is initiated.

We have already explored few options where Oracle confirmed none of them are feasible and suggested to raise a discussion here to check for an alternative way to achieve the requirement.

We created an DFF called “Regrettable Loss” under Work Relationship attributes and the options which we already have explored and concluded as not feasible are as follows:
