Do we need to Open GL Periods to Project Forecast Cost/Revenue Budgets

Hello Team,

Please find the below scenario and let us know if any of you have come across.

Business Case/Reasoning :
For few project, we need to project revenue for several years in the future. On the projects that we tested, it looks like we cannot forecast any revenue past December 2021.

This is a problem as when creating the budget for MRC lines, Oracle automatically divides the total revenue amount in the Budget line by the number of months to forecast the monthly revenue. For the few projects, we have more 20 lines with 36 months worth of revenue. The last date in the Budget periods is December 2021, which is 18 months, so Oracle has divided all 36 months worth of revenue into those 18 months, doubling the monthly revenue projection for each line.

Howdy, Stranger!
