Response rules allow category managers to control how suppliers must respond to negotiation. These response rules are set when creating a negotiation. When creating a draft negotiation, the various response rules visible are illustrated below.

  1. Restrict to invited suppliers –This rule allows only the participating suppliers to search, view, and respond to the negotiation.
  2. Allow suppliers to see other suppliers' contract terms, notes, and attachments– In negotiations where response visibility is open or sealed, this rule allows all participating suppliers to view each other's documents – contract terms, notes, and attachments.
  3. Allow suppliers to select lines on which to respond –
