Learning specialist custom role cannot see any communities they manage under Me - learning - My learning communities - 'Learning communities I manage'.

I have create a custom data role based on the learning specialist seeded role. I created a community under my client groups - learning - learning catalogue - community - create. Then when i navigate to Me - learning - My learning communities - 'Learning communities I manage', nothing appears. Please can you advise why no communities are appearing in this section?
